Happy New Year!!

Hello All,
We have a few things we would like to share with you. First is a fun photo-site that I found that has 360 degree pictures of the celebrations going on around the world on New Year's Eve. Click on the post title to take you there. I thought it was pretty cool! Maybe you can find yourself or someone you know in the crowd? Doubtful, but maybe.

Next we want to wish you all a great night whether you are celebrating big or small.

Have a Happy New Year!

And last a few quotes to leave you with.

A funny one:
I do think New Year's resolutions can't technically be expected to begin on New Year's Day, don't you? Since, because it's an extension of New Year's Eve, smokers are already on a smoking roll and cannot be expected to stop abruptly on the stroke of midnight with so much nicotine in the system. Also dieting on New Year's Day isn't a good idea as you can't eat rationally but really need to be free to consume whatever is necessary, moment by moment, in order to ease your hangover. I think it would be much more sensible if resolutions began generally on January the second.
~Helen Fielding, Bridget Jones's Diary

And a more serious one:
A happy New Year! Grant that I
May bring no tear to any eye
When this New Year in time shall end
Let it be said I've played the friend,
Have lived and loved and labored here,
And made of it a happy year.
~Edgar Guest

Krista + Joe = Forever!

Krista and Joe are two people who really are meant for each other. They complement each other so well that I think of them as two sides of those heart necklaces that go together to make a whole. They are very easy to photograph because they are what you see happy and in love!
Andrew and I as you could of guessed had a great time at their wedding. All of their friends were so supportive and it made it such a great day. Enjoy!

Congratulations guys!

Cheers,
Kate & Andrew

Carly & Chris are Engaged!

Carly & Chris found some great spots to photograph near Horning's Mill. It was a great drive out to Mulmur township, driving down roads I had never been on watching the amazing scenery unfold. The first spot was a fishing area with really nice trees and the next spot was an old mill with no roof. We had lots of laughs, some wet feet and even a surprise visitor.

I also must say a big thanks to my assistant for the day Monica.

Cheers,

Home with the Blom family

We had a great day to photograph the Blom family at their home near Midland. The Blom's used to live in London where I grew up and it was great to spend some time chatting with them about the Forest City. Their son Aiden was cute as a button and by the end of our session he was smiling big at the camera.

Jen & James get Engaged!

Jen & James are getting married next July. They decided to have their engagement session done in the fall so there would be less to do as their wedding date approaches.
We had a fun time at our beach from running through the water to rolling in the sand.

We are never afraid to get dirty, we just have to remember to tell our clients they might also!

Jane + Jeremy = Love

Jeremy & Jane had a wonderful wedding day filled with lots of emotion and fun. It was a little on the chilly side but, it didn't bother Jane or Jeremy. The ceremony took place in Alliston then, it was on to a friend's farm where Jane & Jeremy had lived in the beginning of there relationship. You may remember Jeremy's truck from a previous blog post where it was used at his friends Jacob & Melissa's wedding. Here are a few of my favorites:

Shallon & Darryl get Married in Wasaga Beach

Shallon and Darryl wanted to have an evening wedding. Because of this, we had lots of time to shoot with them and went to a few different locations in the beach. Both Darryl and Shallon are very easy going and fun to shoot with. At one point I had asked Darryl to whisper sweet nothings in Shallon's ear, he decided instead to whisper his football picks for Sundays games! To funny! It worked like a charm to make Shallon laugh. It was great working with you both. We had to many great shot's of the two of you so I differed a little from my regular posting habit's. Enjoy!

Jen & Kevin Get Hitched!

Jen is so lucky to have grown up on a farm that has been in her family for many, many years. She is also lucky to have found Kevin, a guy that knows all about farms and tractors. They are a perfect pair. So, since the farm life has influenced both their lives, that's where they decided to get married. The weather was totally in their favour and everybody had a wonderful time dancing the night away. Here are a few of our favorites from the day.
