Happy Belated New Year! {Wasaga Beach Wedding Photographers}

Hello out there!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday Season. We had a lots of surprises from our friends, showing up to see us unexpectedly from Germany & the North. It was wonderful. Also, we spent lots of time with our Families.

This is the time year when everyone usually looks back over the last year and reflects on what has happened. I have been thinking a lot lately of where I am and what I have. It seems just yesterday I was starting out in the business of photography and I look at where I am today. All I have to say is...Wow and Thank you.

Andrew and I are blessed with such wonderful parents who support us through everything. Without them we would not have been able to accomplish all that we have.

Thank You!

Also, a big Thank you goes out to all of you.

Sometimes we forget to thank people in our everyday lives because we just think that they know how grateful we are. Let them hear it.

Starting into 2010... Wow.

I have big dreams for the future. (If you didn't know I am a bit of a dreamer.) I hope that I will be able to accomplish at least some of them. But I also like how life throws some opportunities at you that you never even thought of or thought possible.

I am ready and can't wait!

Happy New Year.

Mike & Cindy's E-Session {Barrie Wedding Photographers}

Mike & Cindy had never had professional pictures taken of them as a couple. Cindy asked about having a indoor engagement session? We always like to offer our clients variety especially during an engagement session. So we decided to go to the beach first then come back to the studio for the end of the session.
Here's one hot session!

I hope you guys had a great honeymoon.

Two + One = New Family! {Georgian Bay Photographers}

I am sure you all remember beautiful Brigitte from her maternity session. Her cute little baby Chase was welcomed into the world this past summer.
Photographing newborns is full of surprises! We all had a great time and learned Chase loves soft furry blankets. Well who doesn't!
Here are some images from the session.

I really enjoy working with newborn's and young families. It so great to watch the children grow. Our own kids Madisen & Quinn have gotten so big and are both in school now. The grow fast, so don't blink.

Are you expecting an addition to your family?

Ashley + Jason +Baby =Family

Ashley & Jason are members of the Georgian Bay Small Business Association along with yours truly and that is how we all met. When I met Ashley she was just a few months along in her pregnancy. It's been fun these last months watching her belly grow.
When we get together usually it's all business. So, you can image how wonderful it was to see the other side of Jason & Ashley. She had said when she left the studio her belly was sore from laughing so much.

Cindy McQueen- Wanna Web Design

Cindy is the proud owner and principal designer of Wanna Web Design. She has helped me out many times with my constant questions about HTML and other web stuff. I met Cindy thorough our Thursday business group GBSBA.
I had the chance last week to photograph Cindy for a relaxed business portrait. We had lots of fun walking and sometimes falling through the long grass. Cindy what can I say you look great!

Kelly "The Awesome Singer" Burrows!

I originally met and listened to her sweet voice at a clients wedding. Unfortunately, since we were both working we didn't have much time to chat. A few months later we ran in to each other in Toronto at a friends party. Ever since we have kept in touch and a few weeks ago Kelly came to the studio for a session. As always, it was lots of fun! Here are a few pictures from the session:

Here are a few tracks from to listen to:

The Maevens- Too Soon

The Maevens- Simple Things

Kelly has just finished her new website for her business Red Door Music. She offers a unique service to her wedding & event clients in where she works with them to make the music special to their event. Here's what one of here clients has to say:

"My husband-to-be and I wanted the music during our wedding ceremony to be both touching and meaningful. When we discussed this with Kelly, she understood what we were looking for immediately! When we told her that we had a particular song in mind, she modified it slightly to make it more “wedding friendly”, and even offered to send us a sample of her singing it. She really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.

During the ceremony, her performance was spectacular. Walking down the aisle to Kelly singing our song made the whole ceremony come together - and brought tears to my husband’s eyes. It was that magical moment that all brides dream about."

Gabrielle & Neil-Thank You

We made a special trip down to Hamilton Region yesterday to photograph an engagement session for Gabrielle & Neil. They had asked us to come to Hamilton because that is where the Canadian War Plane museum is. Neil being a pilot thought it would be great to have a few images with some much loved planes.
Here's a few sneak peaks:
