Mary & Kelly

When we first met Mary & Kelly they were a little apprehensive about photographers. They had met with a few and were unhappy with how controlling they seemed to be. That first meeting they kept looking at me expecting me to tell them how their day was going to go and that this and this were extra. We were happy to be able to put their minds at ease and give them exactly what they wanted.
It was great to be a part of Mary & Kelly's day and see what wonderful friends and family they have. It seemed like everybody had a part in making their wedding day dreams come true. It was quite hard to narrow down our favorites but, here are just a few to tell the happy story:

Mary's cousin wrote a song for Mary and her dad to dance to. This is him explaining about the ups and downs of putting the song together.

Hope you guys had a great honeymoon!

Cheers,

Family Time

Most of you who know us know that we have two young kids. At times, it can be hard trying to have enough quality time for everyone including yourself. So, this past week we closed up shop and went on a holiday. We drove a lot, swam a lot and had tonnes of fun. Here are a few from the many favorites taken during our trip.

Apparently we tired them out! Although, not for long Quinn was up at 7:30 to fish with dad.

Wishing you the best for the summer!

Sabrina & Lance

Lance & Sabrina chose Sunnidale park as their perfect place to be married. They spent lots of time in the park making sure that they had a great spot for the ceremony. The forecast called for rain. And it did rain early in the morning. By three o 'clock the park was ready and so was the bride.

Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your special day. It was a lot of fun and I hope nobody got in trouble for sitting on the bar!
Cheers,
Kate & Andrew

Deb & Wayne

Deb & Wayne came home from Alberta to get married at her parents house in New Lowell. Because of the distance, I had not been able to meet with them until a week before the wedding. I was a little nervous because I like to meet with clients several times before their big day. No reason to be nervous. Deb & Wayne are both very easy going people who were excited to get married. Their day turned out beautiful, thanks to many friends and family.

Congratulations again!
Hope you made it home safely.
Cheers,
Kate & Andrew

Mark & Rita

Mark was the lucky winner of a free business portrait at a business after five get together. He had asked us if he could use his business portrait session for a couples portrait session instead. We said "of course!" Mark convinced Rita that it would be great to include their motorcycle. We recommended that we shoot down at the main right after the long weekend. The sky was a great backdrop and the boardwalk was completely empty. That might of had something to do with the chill in the air and that it had snowed the day before.

I have had quite a few people say to me " I wish I could get married all over so you could do the photos." Well, you don't have to get married or even have a event to get professional photos done. Why not just plan a couples shoot at your favorite spot to celebrate your life together.

Have a great week!

Cheers,
Kate & Andrew
